HelloPrescott grew out of the 6,400-member Prescott AZ Community Facebook group, so the site is already part of the conversation locals and newcomers are having about town. Pages here are written for the questions that drive Prescott trip planning and relocation, and built to be picked up by both Google search and the AI answers people read before they ever open a search bar.

Who we feature.

We say no often. Not because the businesses aren’t good, but because being featured on HelloPrescott has to mean something to a visitor reading it. Here is what we look for, and what disqualifies. No surprises.

    Locally rooted in Yavapai County.

    Owned and operated in Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Dewey-Humboldt, or the surrounding county. National chains and franchises run from corporate don't fit the format.

    Reputation we can verify in public.

    Real reviews from real customers. We read them. A handful of paid 5-stars and an otherwise empty trail is a tell, and we treat it as one.

    Something we can recommend in good conscience.

    If a friend asked us where to go for what you do, would we send them to you? That's the bar.

    Capacity to handle the inbound.

    Being featured drives calls, emails, and walk-ins. If you can't return a call within a day or two, the feature hurts more than it helps. We'd rather wait until you can.

What we get asked.

Is this a paid feature?

Yes. Featured slots are paid placement. Applying is free. Pricing depends on category and length of run and is sent only after we accept an application, because the first question should be whether you’re a fit. If we accept and the price isn’t for you, walk away with no hard feelings.

How long does a feature run?

A year, renewable. The profile page stays live for the full term and you keep the homepage rotation, category placement, and any guides we wrote with you the whole time.

Can I write my own profile copy?

Yes. Send us the copy you want on your page and we’ll publish it.

What if I’m not local-local?

If you operate in Yavapai County and serve Prescott area customers, apply. If your business is in Phoenix and you visit Prescott twice a year, this isn’t the right fit, and we’ll say so.

Do you take affiliate kickbacks on top of the feature?

For lodging and tours we earn commissions through Stay22, Booking.com, and Viator on outbound bookings (see our affiliate disclosure). For service businesses there is no kickback. The feature fee is the only money on the table.

Can I get featured AND advertise?

Featured businesses get the editorial profile and natural surfacing. We don’t run display ads. If you want a paid campaign separately, email us and we’ll talk.
